Mary Jo is a Shapes certified Personal Trainer and an AFAA certified Group Fitness Instructor. She has been part of the fitness industry for 30 years, and says "it's what has always kept me going". "I believe that being fit is more important than just being thin."
New clients can expect Mary Jo to stress cardiovascular conditioning, strength training and balance training in order to achieve their fitness goals. "As we get older it is essential we improve on our balance by building a stronger core and maintaining an awareness of our posture."
Mary Jo encourages her clients to "never give up" on their journey to becoming the best they can be. "Eating healthy, staying active and just being happy is really what it is all about" says Mary Jo.
Mary Jo is available for training Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings at the Brandon location.
