Carolyn Silan has nearly twenty years experience in exercise science and physical therapy.
“I began studying Exercise Physiology at UC Davis, graduating in 1991. My work in Physical Therapy started as an Aide for five years, always working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. In 1995, I successfully challenged the Physical Therapy Board Examination to become a Physical Therapy Assistant and graduated from CSU Sacramento in Physical Therapy in 1998.
I’ve chosen to dedicate my career to orthopedic education and clinical practice ever since, and trained vigorously in a variety of therapeutic techniques. I have completed the yearlong Folsom Long Term Manual Therapy course (Norwegian approach) and the Kaiser Hayward Advanced Skills Manual Therapy course (Australian approach).
